Seto Blue and White Ceramics Center was founded on April 15,
2000 by practically using a subsidiary business of the Ministry of Posts
and Telecommunications, so called “Project to create an invigorated
multimedia society”. This center is a hub of information for tradition and culture
of Seto. The goal of the Institute is to conserve and continue the
“Seto-Sometsuke” technique by bringing up trainees, introducing productions,
and sending information throughout the country.
