‘Old Kiln house
"Kogama" was recognized by the Seto city specifically cultural
asset in 1997. It was recognized to the modernization techno heritage group
on November 30, 2007."Kogama" uses firewood for the firing pottery.
"Kogama" is a kind of " Noborigama. " It was often
used for "Honngyougama"₯"Marugama" modern ages.
Earthenware was fired in "Honngyougama". Large porcelain was
fired in "Marugama. " "Kogama "fired both earthenware
and porcelain. "Kogam"a is smaller than "Noborigama "of
other types. Moreover, this kiln was made in the place of the rapid ascent.
Our "Kogama" used to fire a chiefly small porcelain work. This
kiln was dismantled and reconstructed to this place in 1947. The kiln was
working used until 1964. This "Kogama "only remains in Seto.
